B&B with difference
Bridgefield offers 'bed and breakfast' with a difference.
Breakfast is a superb, chef-prepared buffet at Bridgefield's
on-site café/restaurant, and the accommodations provide
opportunity for both privacy and for meeting fellow holiday-makers.
Her original Guest House and Gallery are able to accommodate eight couples,
with her Cabin able to accommodate a third person. |

In her pioneering
Australia coach house tradition,
Bridgefield's original Guest House provides
lodgings of
a charming country house,
with log fires, ceiling fans
and
big brass beds,
yet with the modern conveniences
of
individual reverse-cycle air-conditioning, electric blankets,
and ensuites.
Her
five guest bedrooms
each accommodating a couple,
as well as relaxing lounge and sitting rooms,
make the original
Guest House the perfect house
for a restful escape from the rigours of modernity,
or for a small wedding party seeking to capture
a piece of a gentler age. |

Three
of the four queen rooms in her original Guest House
have their own covered courtyard in which to enjoy some private time in
fresh air, perhaps before joining
travelling companions or embarking on a wine tour.
Each also has ensuite,
private tea- and coffee-making facilities,
and is equipped with bar refrigerator.
The Boudoir with Slipper Bath (below, second from right)
is in the style of a
French boudoir. It is an intimate room, with French antique (double)
bed and rich fabrics, favoured by the more romantic who are comfortable with
the liberated French mode of bedroom and bathroom as one. |

The breakfast of
The
ambiance of a bygone era
is enhanced by
the
on-site heritage tea house,
where highly-regarded chef, Nathalie,
prepares breakfast freshly
each morning
at Nathalie's Cuisine.

|
'Bed & Breakfast'
As might be expected of a 'bed and breakfast' establishment,
breakfast is seen as the important start to the day it is,
and Nathalie's quality cold buffet selection,
with tea and coffee station,
is included in your Bridgefield accommodation tariff.
For only a nominal additional amount to Nathalie,
Bridgefield guests have the enviable benefit of
awakening to a full, 'five star' cooked buffet as well.

The Gallery presents
three guest rooms,
in addition to the five of
the original Guest House:
The Champagne Room;
The Merlot Room;
and
The Cabin.

|
 |
|
The Champagne
Room
Upstairs with French doors opening to
a wrap-around verandah, from which there are views
over the original Guest House to the forests surrounding
Margaret River town,
this richly wood-panelled room
has a queen bed,
ensuite spa bath and shower, TV-DVD,
and refreshment facilities.
|
|
 |
|
The Merlot
Room
Nestled under the boughs of a Pussy Willow,
the Merlot Room's small covered courtyard
adds to the character and warmth of the
wood-panelled queen bedroom it adjoins.
The Merlot Room has TV-DVD,
an ensuite with shower,
and its courtyard an intimate wood fire
and outdoor setting.
|
|
 |
|
The Cabin
A cosy cabin with double bed and king-single bed,
ensuite shower, TV-DVD, and kitchenette with dining nook,
the Cabin has its own wooden deck on which to relax,
perhaps with a meal,
a Margaret River Cabernet,
or a good book.
Together with the Merlot Room,
it can make for a great alternative to
run-of-the-mill accommodation for a family or friends.
